I can't say at what exact moment I decided this is what I wanted to do with my life, because I've really just always known it. Growing up, I was the first to volunteer to help at the school carnival, put on fundraisers, and pretty much used every excuse possible to throw a party. I started working in the hospitality industry in high school, and was immediately drawn to the banquet and private party side of it. I was 18 when I started working with a wedding coordinator for an in house event at the restaurant I was working at, and I immediately envied her. I wanted that. I wanted to work with brides, I wanted to help people achieve their dream day. I set out and was on a mission to get an internship in the industry, so I could start learning. I landed on as an event assistant at an event coordinating company in Seattle. After an internship there, I ventured out and booked my very first wedding on my own. I cried - several times - and it was my baby. And every wedding since then has still been my own little baby, my project to watch grow, my client's dream to watch flourish. Watching a couple's vision come together, and to get to be a part of such a special moment in someone's life, is truly rewarding. Up until I started my own company, I was working as a Wedding Specialist at a catering company in Kirkland, WA.
I was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington, and have since then lived in Houston and Seattle. I love the feel of a small town, but the vibrant culture of the city also draws me in.
Enough about me - it's time to start celebrating you!
